London to Istanbul by Train

This is my next trip departing a week tomorrow, Friday 15th.

It'll be overland through eight countries but only one visa is required - for Turkey - & that's simply £10 at the border so no preparation required. Just waiting for my through tickets from Railbookers who have also arranged my overnight accommodation - so no preparation required either.

One of the things I love about rail travel is stopping off wherever you want so I'm taking time out in Vienna and Budapest - cities I've never been to.
